History is important because...

History is very important in so many ways. It gives you the chance to learn about your ancestors and other background information of other cultures that you may or may not be interested in, either way it is always important to know about information on history due to the simple fact that you will need it in the long run even if you think you don't. Without History, nations and people would have no context. politics, religion, economics, sociology, patriotism, tourism all would have no meaning. History is a great treat into the past; it lets us live in an era where we pretty much weren't thought of or even close to thought of on earth. History teaches us that a simple individual with great convictions or a committed group can change the world with one simple thing. Each persons world view is based off of what they have experienced as well as the experiences of the group in which he or she belongs to. It is said that history repeats itself so with that being said history will teach you how to grasp and overcome change, when you overcome a bump in your life the smartest thing to do is look back at the past if needed and try to get an understanding on what may caused this current situation going on in your life or family life.

History enables us to understand how the world worked then and how it works now. History provides us with the framework of knowledge that we need to build our entire lives on. It takes us closer to happenings and events in the past we can know about and learn how things have changed every since, and who were the figures and personalities that helped change the scenario. How can we begin to understand society today without understanding what created it? the people and events that who we are incredibly important. With this knowledge of history you can be able to analyze other cultures, another reason to study history is because it helps us understand change. Change comes everyday, and without history no one would be able to prepare their self for it, an understanding on history is essential for good citizenship. Think about it, understanding cultures can be so difficult unless you look back at history, history just isn't a class its actually used throughout your LIFE, history can teach you about so many things things that you probably didn't even know existed. Studying History assists you through change which is happening everyday, all around you.

Without history how could we develop judgement in wordily affairs by understanding the past behavior of people and societies? history must serve as our laboratory, and the past must serve as our evidence in why people act and behave the way they do in certain country's today. History also helps us understand change and how the community, nation and world we live in came to be and possibly " going to be ". History also provides identity, and this is unquestionably one of the reasons all modern nations encourage its teachings in some form. Historical data include evidence about how families, group, institutions and whole countries were formed and about how they have evolved while retaining cohesion. For many Americans, studying the history of ones own family is the most obvious use of history, for it provides facts about genealogy and a basis for understanding how the family has interacted with the larger historical change in their life. Family identity is established and confirmed. Many institutions, businesses, communities, and social units, such as ethnic groups in the United States use history for similar identity purposes.

History is useful for the world of work. Its studies helps create good business people, professionals, and political leaders. Most people wonder " why should we have to study history? " or " why is history so important ? " the answer for that is because we virtually must, to gain access to the laboratory of human experience. When we study it reasonably well, and so acquire some usable habits of mind, as well as some basic date about the forces that affect our own lives, we emerge with relevant skills and an enhanced capacity for informed citizenship, critical thinking, and simple awareness. The uses of history are varied. Studying history can help us develop some literally " salable " skills. History teaches us to to "think", weather its American, European, Military, Art, Ancient, Modern, Religious, Archaeological, Etc. History enables us to contemplate the experiences that came before us. It is true that history is the record of our past, however  i think history is more then time and place. History allows us to think about the greatest question humanity has ever asked.... Why?. Studying history allows humanity to look at its own reflection. We can embrace the reflection good and bad and be stronger for it, or turn away from our reflection denying we ever existed at all.

Last but not least i think History is important because it lets us see how lucky we are now in our time, and how our parents and grandparents and so on lived, they didn't have special things like we have like high tech cellphones, computers, nice cars, music players, or any nice technology things hands on that we have now. They had to event and go from what they know, so if you think about it we are VERY lucky and have it so much better compared to them. It keeps us aware of how our ancestors lived and grew up during their time. It gives us information on how a person came to be or even how a simple thing got invented which is pretty awesome if you ask me. If we did not have history so many questions would run through our mind such as how god created us? how did our nation come to be? or whats the reason of god creating us?. It is crucial to study history because history is the answer for how this world came to be. History teaches is lessons learned from previous mistakes. It teaches us what us as  people should do and shouldn't do. Because we know the consequences already. This quote says it all " Those who cannot learn from history are bound to repeat it".

The results of my survey was "Visual Learner", I definitely agree with my results because i think its true that i'm more of a Visual learner than anything else such as Kinetic & Auditory learner and it actually gives me the chance to answer things truthfully and i get to see what the outcome is going to be. Something i learned using my learning style was that you don't have to be a Auditory or a Kinesthetic  learner in order to be good at your learning skills. The survey was very easy to understand because it was straight forward to the point, it wasn't any extra information it just gave me everything that i needed in one. I personally think the survey is important because its good for students and people period to know what type of learner they are.

Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed

I am writing about my favorite childhood book " Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed " I think the theme that is trying to be relayed is that whatever your parents say not to do you should always listen to them no matter what the situation is.

I think the author is trying to entice me into thinking that you should always listen to your parents no matter what the situation is because at the end of the day everything that they told you will always be for the better and not for the worst because all your parents want you to do is be a responsible person that knows right from wrong.

One real life example of this story is if your parents tell you not to do something and you still do it just know that its always an cause and effect for EVERYTHING you do so therefore whatever you are doing its going to be a consequence for your actions.

The theme for this story is when you see someone else get hurt that's doing the same current activity that you are doing then maybe that should be an eye opener and sign that you shouldn't be doing it or continue to do it. Remember everything your parents tell you isn't to be a " boring parent " or whatever, believe it or not its actually going to help you in the long run.
